Foster
Foster Friends Network is looking for foster homes in and around Los Angeles County that are willing to take in a small dog for weeks at a time. According to the Los Angeles Animal Services 2008 Statistical Report, nearly 8,000 dogs were euthanized last year. Because of an increase in foreclosures and recent economical downturns, pet owners are finding it increasingly difficult to monetarily care for their animals and have no where to place their pets except for the shelters. Furthermore, animal rescues are also facing financial difficulties due to steep drops in donations and grants and have to make the heartbreaking decision to save fewer animals as they struggle to remain open.

In the hopes of relieving overcrowded shelters, Foster Friends Network is dedicated to adopting dogs from Los Angeles county and city shelters and fostering a dog until it is adopted into a loving home. Though our efforts may not change the world, we believe the world will be changed for that one dog.

If you are willing to foster, socialize, train, and share your love, please contact us!

We do not have fund raisers, or the backing of large corporations. Everything we do comes out of our pockets!

A donation of ANY amount will help us provide food, bedding, collars, leashes - and most importantly, give us funds to help rescue another dog.
